A two days workshop will host international experts to discuss the aspects and the consequences of climate change in the broader Mediterranean area, and also consider related case-studies dedicated to other regions of the planet. The workshop will cover the following aspects:

• xlimate change observation, modelling and foresight;
• impact on the sea (temperature, biodiversity, sea currents, extreme weather-"Medicanes");
• impact on the coast;
• impact on agriculture.
